January 5 - Spring Ahead and Catch Me

Start at 8:00 Hernando Trail, Hot Springs Village, Grove Park on Desoto Blvd, approximately 9 miles from the Highway 7 gate. Tell the gate security that you are there for a Spa Pacer event
Each runner will have a head start handicap based on 5K time. A 5K out and back course on Hernando Trail in Hot Springs Village. Hernando is more of a well maintained dirt road than a trail. You will be asked for a recent 5K time at check-in to establish your handicap.

January 12 - Mile and a Meal

Start at 8:00 at Jessieville High School track north of Hot Springs Village
Mile run at Jessieville track, option for breakfast afterwards at Home Plate Cafe, on Hwy 7 between Jessieville and HSV. Depending on the number for breakfast, we can get the private room.

Optional early start 4-5 mile run from Jessieville track down Beaudry Road. Those wanting more miles should come early so we all finish the mile and all head to breakfast at about the same time.

January 19 - Caddo Bend Trail

Start at 8:00 at Lake Ouchita State Park Take 227 into the park and at the stop sign go straight past the visitors center to parking. There is very limited parking at the trailhead
Caddo Bend Trail. Three options. Four mile loop for hard core trail runners - two long steep hills and lots of gnarly footing. Three mile out and back, out on trail (one long hill but not mostly good footing), back on maintenance road. Three mile out and back, all on maintenance road. There is an observation deck at the turnaround point with a great lake view. These routes should be able to accommodate everyone. The lake is visible from much of the trail.

January 26 - Guess Your Time - Location to be announced one week before the event. The course will not be announced until after check-in on run day but will be 3-5 miles.
